Inspired by the extraordinary interior of the Convent de Cristo, a 15th century convent built on the ruins of a Templar fort in Tomar, Portugal. Manueline is the name of the Portuguese Gothic style and its splendid patterns embellish the Round Church within the walls of the Convent de Cristo. We have recreated this pattern on lightweight habotai silk, in a slip over capelet.
